If skip passes to the corner were a tracked stat, it would be Kolek

Morsell. Lewis was slightly better on offense but Morsell's D was huge all night

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

2.  Morsell

Microwave Kam.  First off the bench when we dug an early hole...and hit some shots to keep us in the game when Kolek, Lewis and Morsell were struggling.

Justin Lewis, he really brought us back in the start of the second half with those back to back 3s.

2) Darryl Morsell
3) Kam Jones
4) Kur Kauth

I'll have Lewis with a side of Morsell and Jones, then Kuath for dessert
so, Lewis

Lewis was clearly the best player. However, I think we should consider how a players game was compares to his season average. It was not unrealistic to expect this kind of contribution from Lewis. However, it was Jones who far exceeded what you would expect to get from him. I happy with the Lewis selection, but I think Jones' contribution is probably more unexpected and therefore had a greater impact on the outcome. We would not have won without his unexpected contribution.

Lewis going for a career high is an expected outcome?  Lots of overthinking concerning SOTG this year. It was JLew, no need to make it more complicated than that.

So, are you proposing that we have a new "PWCIMUATHGIOTO" award? I don't know...it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

It's a psychological problem to be sure. I have incredibly high expectations for Lewis and Morrell, which will be challenging for them to surpass. I already have high expectations for Kolek, too, based on his mature ball-handling and passing ability.

Basically the only rationale to pick someone other than Markus Howard in his senior year.

I love his passes, he just sees the court so well.
