Number of (Unique) SOTGs?
« on: November 15, 2021, 03:40:14 AM »
So far Morsell has been the team with some nice support from JLew. But how many different STOGs will we have by the end of the year? Of course our overall win total (and Rocky's editorial bias) also factors in here.

Extra points if you name who they will be

One of my favorite SOTG fun facts is that Joseph Chartouny won two SOTGs in his short time at MU

One of my favorite SOTG fun facts is that Joseph Chartouny won two MORE SOTGs THAN JOEY HAUSER in his short time at MU

In our losses to Creighton and Seton Hall, Joey might have been CreightonScoop's and SetonScoop's SOTG.

Bro. Don’t pick on the hausers. There are still a lot of Scoopers here who think the Hauser brothers were the next coming of the Pope and the late JC.

And that their mom should have been the next MU AD and their dad should be MUBB head coach.

I feel like Rocky gave the ILL SOTG to Kauth just to irrelevance this poll - especially since none of us had him for one at any point.

Kam will have one, or a few.

If it weren’t for Tyler’s awesome all around game he might have been my choice tonight.

Huge shots, all at a critical point in the 2H.

Amazing, pure lefty stroke ala DJO, and he’s fearless.

Unless each of Prosper, Jones, Joplin, Ellis, Brown, Carney, and Kennedy get a SOTG AND Itejere burns his redshirt and gets a SOTG, we broke this poll. There were no options between 6 and 15. I think we get at least two more (Prosper/Jones) before the end of the season.

The good thing with Crean's or Buzz's teams, is you had four or more players that could go off for 20+ points any game.
Hence, very difficult to shut down four or more players.
Nice to see that kind of spread the scoring over many players with Shaka's first team.

The COLE told me we wouldn't have enough wins to have more than 6 SOTGs
