I complimented Kolek but it looks like it was just the poor competition.  Now he's up against an average team and looks marginal

Getting a tough whistle. The Kolek charge certainly wasn't that. They got an offensive rebound that the guy clearly was on the baseline with the ref staring directly at it and didn't get called, resulting in a layup. Seems like they're letting a lot of physicality go on at the rim.

Marquette wins that 4 minutes, 8-4, tied at 16 heading to the under 8.

Shooting still miserable, NHU didn't get any o-rebounds in that stretch and had a few turnovers.

Kolek had a wide open 3 from the top of the key and barely hit the very left side of the rim.

That 4 minute stretch goes to NHU, 8-3.  Pretty awful offense and half court defense from Marquette, no sugar coating it

I'm all for empowering our guys to let er rip from 3, but I would prefer it looks like they practice them from time to time

They're bad and we're playing worse

We look worse than Wojo's first team. Might be a long year. Hope to see some improvement throughout the season but I'm not expecting much at all.
