Extremely young and inexperienced, nobody with a big resume’ or reputation - so no expectations regarding record or our place in the standings. If we play hard and with cohesion, I’ll be happy and optimistic going forward. If not, I’ll be worried.

What if they play respectably hard but the talent level is clearly not what's needed to succeed in the Big East?

If they play hard and look well coached but look short on talent I’ll expect a talent infusion in the offseason. And if we don’t get it I’ll be worried.

Lots of “what if’s”. I hope and think we’ll be fine.

Figurin' dale surprize ya, hey?

That would be great but the ship will not turn around that fast. Need to give him a few years to get it going.

I seen several players at MU look good in non-conference not perform well in the Big East.
My focus is on how well they do against the quality teams in non - conference , not the buy games .
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.
