I've never been a projo. Sosojo for life...or  for 3 more regular season losses.

Can't speak for tower, but I think he's in the same camp.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Of course you have.  And I get that extreme pragmatism is your schtick, but if you really need to see 3 more regular season losses to be sure Wojo isn't the guy after watching him for 7 years, you need some new material.

I just like to have all the information before making a judgement. If I didn't, I may have mistakenly become a Projo in year 5 or declared year 6 a success before they flamed out. Coaches are judged on seasons, not individual games. Based on what I've seen so far, I don't think he's the guy. But if they end up playing their best ball of the last stretch of the season, that could be enough to make me think he deserves another year.

Problem Spotters are a Dime a Dozen arm chair quarterbacks. Problem Solvers have real insights with perspectives on coaching solutions. Send in your coaching candidates along with your GoFund Me Page. Buzz hire was an anomaly that nearly burned Scoop down after the announcement....... Lightning in the bottle hire..... Recall MU chased Rick Majerus and he turned out to be a pretty good college coach......Onward......

He is the guy! THIS TEAM LOOKS GREAT! I see improvements across the board. You all dont know what you are talking about!

Coach Wojo and his staff have done a great job. Man everyone has stepped their game up...and put in work.

I guess SoSoJo is where I am.  The guy definitely has short comings.
But, he has kept us from being a dumpster fire.
Nothing saying the next coach will be nothing more than a bottom feeder.
We just lost to a decent team in overtime on their home court that is about the same level.
I figure the folks on Scoop just like their losses packed differently than Wojo is providing.
Easier to shrug it off as a new coach still needing to learn and get his players.

maybe not a dumpster fire, but definitely a kitchen grease fire, and the fire extinguisher is buried in the utility closet

In any case, the team is what it is.  Enjoy the rest of the season.

That is a mighty low bar.  I hate the idea of starting over, and the next guy might be worse.  But once you've decided that the current guy is not the guy to bring success on the scale we want/expect, you have to move on.

I think Wojo could be another Majerus who finds success elsewhere once he has a year in the booth or as an assistant to contemplate what worked and what he needs to improve on, but every week it seems a little more like this won't be the place were he finds success.

That is a pretty low bar.  But also look at it this way.  Getting to the bottom is a much easier job than getting to the top.
At least Wojo has some plusses, is positive and works his ass off.  We lost in overtime last night.
If we move on from Wojo, as always I will support the team.
When Al moved on from basketball, it was pretty much on the downward slope even with Hank and Rick.
Much easier to head downhill.
But, if the BOT is ready for a new coach, I will support it and hope for the best.
