They got a dunk for Theo to tie at 59, on what essentially ended up being a slip screen. Both defenders went to Carton, and Theo recognized it and cut to the hoop.

On the last possession, they had Koby fake to set a high ball screen, then he went opposite block to screen for Theo, who set a screen up top. Problem is his roll went right into the passing lane. Koby was open, his defender was in the lane. A clean pass and he either has a shot, or if help comes, and extra pass to Jamal in the corner.

Koby is on the ground with the ball at 2.4. Why no one on the bench was screaming for a timeout then is beyond me.

And we shouldn't be happy with Wojo's effort if he really did say he ran the last play in regulation because it had gotten a dunk for Carton the possession before.

The problem is the dunk came well into OT.

The Golden Breakdown guys made a mistake. The possession before they did run a play and it did get dunk for Theo, assisted by Carton. They assumed that Wojo was talking about Carton getting a dunk but it was Carton setting up a dunk for Theo.

That was just one poster speculating.  When Buzz left for Virginia Tech, he had been to the Sweet 16 or better in 3 of the last 4 seasons.  What's funny is he probably could've had the Texas job if he'd waited it out one more year at MU, but the way things were behind the scenes, that wasn't going to happen.

Wojo will have no P6 opportunities after the season.  That ship has sailed.

It's pretty clear, Wojo does not know how to motivate.  This might be akin to Ted Williams not being able to coach hitting.  Wojo obviously never needed motivation on effort as a player.

I went to the MU game at Butler during Henry's season.  Henry had twisted his ankle the game prior (a win over GTown).  We had won 3 of 4.  The loss was to Nova.  A win at Butler on the last day of the season gets us to 9-9 and more on the bubble.  I arrive early to show my son around Hinkle.  Henry's warming up.  He's going to play!  I thought this is it, we're back, we're rising.  We lost by 21.  Finish conference 8-10.

I should have known then.

Great example. That is the game we always seem to lose.  Right when you think we have a chance to get back in the tournament picture or do something special the rug gets pulled out from under the fan base.
