Why do we repeatedly inbound the ball into the trap. We have a 6’11” guy with ball skills. Perfect guy to inbound to in the middle of the court.

We've got to be one of the best own-FT rebounding teams in the nation.

Or at least the most timely

Koby missing freebies down the stretch 2 out of last 3 games. Strange to see that.

Good W! We needed it.

Very important win.  We found a way to stop the bleeding after a shaky stretch.  Great opportunity to move up in the BEast the next 5 games.

He does when he is usually automatic and the game is salted away.

Nope. Lazy mentality.

I'd rather see him stay loose and shrug the recent misses off then get all uptight about them. To allege he has a lazy mentality when he was battling and pulled down several big boards down the stretch is, well, lazy couch viewing mentality.

Did you watch the game?  Lazy mentality is the last two words that would apply to Koby.

Yes, I watched every second.  He’s too concerned with trash talking...last night with a kid that’s headed to the NBA.  He needs to keep his mouth shut, stop the trash and get back to making free throws.  If you don’t think it’s going to cost this team, maybe you need watch more closely yourself.

The game was in the bag.

He had just outplayed the NBA bound guard.

He dared laugh at himself.

Perhaps you need to learn to laugh at yourself.

Or......lighten up, Francis.

Means a lot, thanks. So you’re fine with the trash talking and fall off in free throws, got it.  Pretty sharp in your own right.

Free throw misses happen to everyone. I still trust Koby with the game on the line.

As far as the trash talking, this team needs a bit of toughness. Koby provides that. He also plays harder than anyone else on the team. Every team trash talks. Should our guys just play with their mouth shut?

If he was trash talking and made it would you have been upset? Certain player trash talk to get their confidence up and get out of their head. Just because you may have let your game speak for itself in High school (Middle school? Grade school?) doesn't mean that that's for everyone.

Wonder what your edit was after re-reading your own post.

Duke had a poor night, still went for 17-3-9.

Koby needs to keep his mouth shut and learn how to close out games; watch the end again he was waiting for a PU player to make eye contact while on the line so he could talk more sh;t.

Again, if you don’t think that’ll cost this team down the road, good for you.

17 points on 18 FGA is very inefficient.  I was much more concerned with Watson's 18 points on 8 FGA.  Duke's a good player, Koby was part of a good team performance defending him.
