In the two minutes I saw he had a board, a block and 2 assists.

Impressive. You must’ve been his good luck charm because it seems he did nothing in the 20 minutes you didn’t see of his.

I saw his layup. It came on a smart cut to the basket and a nice pass from Jrue.

I also saw him airball a 3 for the second straight game.

Sam plays more in blowouts, but he's also getting a little more PT because Porzingis is out.

The less he plays the better the C’s are. Unless Lenny is watching. Then he’s the best player to ever grace this Earth.

That's three airballs in three games.

I remember it being hypothesized on Scoop that Greg Elliott couldn't be called a "shooter" because he occasionally launched a brick or an airball. "No 'shooter' ever misses that badly."

Well, Sam really is a shooter. I mean, even Curry throws an occasional airball.

You are a special poster. I am surprised that Shaka allowed the “shooter” to leave. The only player that got minutes in three years to depart, aside to the NBA.

Scoop is a special breed of Marquette fan.  I never encounter other Marquette fans in the wild that ever talk about the Hausers or Wojo or Crean or Buzz or about the topics that get discussed to death on this board.  Pretty weird

You're right, Goose ... Elliott couldn't shoot a lick. I am surprised that Shaka asked him to stick around for an entire season and used him for about 20 mpg during conference play. I am also surprised that another P6 team brought him on for the following season, when he shot .416 from 3, matching his career average.

Sammy played a nice role in game I  had a great poke away steal from doncic' during boston's initial onslaught to go along with some decent defense and clutch rebounds.  he's not afraid to mix it up with the big dogs

Sam played well. He'll have a long NBA career as long as that shot keeps falling.

“As long as that shot keeps falling”? He’s a great shooter. Anyone ever say, “You know that Dennis Rodman, he’ll have a long NBA career as long as those rebounds keep bouncing his way”?

Tim Legler was a great shooter, too. Until he became a less-great shooter.

You arguing just cuz you feel like arguing, Tony?

I was one of the few here who thought Sam would have an NBA career. I even won a bet off infamous doxxer keefe, though I'll never see that payoff.

Sam needs to remain a great shooter, yes.

Played very well in helping Boston take a big lead. Best game in awhile, and good for Sam - he's about to be part of a championship team.
