Justin playing the 5.  Koby playing off the ball.

The white uniforms are a huge upgrade over the last version's whites.  The turquoise is hideous.  Thankfully only a one time thing, I believe.

Still think they look like women's jerseys but you're right about the whites they're an upgrade but that's a low bar

Which team should I cheer for to get better seeding in March?

I be okay if they got rid of the white unis altogether. Home Gold, road Navy, with Baby blues for big games.

So I have yet to see Dexter in any of the videos/photos of practice. Is he quarantining or is he hurt?

Last week Wojo did say Dex hasn't practiced yet due to recovering from the Covid break (though he didn't say he was the one who had Covid).

I've seen pictures of him, maskless and in full gear, in the gym with the team.  But haven't seen him actually playing in any videos or pictures.  I did see him shooting some free throws in a picture.

Got it from playing against the Jazz, hey?  Thanks, Rudy.

Noticed the exact same thing. I remember seeing something on twitter about COVID but as other posters have said, he's been around the team...

Not sure how you square that

Seeing the highlights got me amped. That said, sort of feel like Perez would be a good addition for us if he was eligible. A few other takeaways:

1. Seems we are gonna shoot a lot of threes.
2. Koby got rid of the weird hitch in his jumper it seems like.
3. Justin Lewis (not to be confused with Justin Fields, tOSU QB) has some nice moves and instincts. Could be a fun mismatch.
4. Carton is on a different level. Really excited to see what he has in store for us this year.
5. Dawson will make some mistakes that will make us scratch our heads, but he has a nose for scoring (and thinking he can score). I feel like he will make a much better impact than frosh J. Hauser. We'll see on the defensive side though.
6. Ball movement looked good and what we've hoped for.
7. Will we play defense? Really didn't see much there to confirm we will--but it's scrimmage.
8. ND sucks.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Great points, Jake. Especially #8.

DJ does look unguardable, with his stop and go, his quickness and his vision. He’ll be fun to have on the court.

Also liked Dawson’s presence and vision. Nice drop-off passes, and in the right place for touch-ins.

I’m excited, but realistic. And, expectant that the season could fall apart with COVID.

Having Carton on Preseason Honorable Mention All Big East is going to look laughable by the end of the year.  He's a stud.

Justin Fields-Lewis has long reminded me of a poor man's Crowder.  I expect him to be one of the best in the conference when he's an upper classman.

Jamal looks more confident. So does Symir.

Not much from Oso.

If Dexter is even a decent contributor I think this team will be very solid.  Then again, I think the Big East will be very, very tough.

Looks like they switched the teams up over the course of the scrimmage.

DJ has elite speed and quickness.

Nice to see some solid ball movement.

Only a scrimmage, but if they can execute like this in conference, there may be some upside this year.

You can be beyond the contagious  stage, but still experience longer–term symptoms of the illness. He may still be experiencing fatigue or other symptoms, even if he isn’t not yet ready to play.

People I know recovering have had a hard time getting back to "game shape" with vo2max levels a lot lower than pre infection. May be the case here
