Big East will have 11 teams in 2020-2021 with the addition of U Conn. The teams will be a 20 game double round robin schedule.

Where do you think MU will finish in the Big East?

For the purposes of this poll please assume DJ Carton and Jose Perez are not eligible this season.

Bottom 3.  DePaul will be well ahead of us and we get swept by them.

The Poll assumes Carton is not eligible. There will be another poll if he is eligible.

Carton will get a waiver, Perez might as well.  Carton makes them possibly better than last year.  Really good point, experience with Koby. Elliott and Torrence at the other guard.  Small forward, question mark, but Cain has experience.  Garcia will be better than Bailey, and Lewis is a nice addition.  Theo should be a little better next
year if his wrist is fine.  Might be able to go up stronger.  Akanno might be the real sleeper.  With Carton, top 5 is possible, without him, battling for last with Butler and
St. Johns.

What would be the reasoning behind the Perez waiver?

I voted 10th. We have five frontline players. Three are freshmen. You are not going to win in the Big East with this frontline.

Woops. Didn't see the proviso that DJ & Perez were to be considered ineligible before voting.
Went with 6th, wouldn't have been as optimistic if I'd seen all the info.

I said first place only because I wasn't offered an even better choice.

Polls still open. Looking to get a decent sample size of The MU Scoop Braintrust

Again assumes no Carton or Perez eligibility

Will post a new poll if they are eligible

6-9 range sounds about right.  Should be on higher end of that if we get Carton.  Could be a disaster without him and any other last minute reinforcements.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

You've been drinking those three dollar pitchers of leftover green beer in June again, haven't you?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

He wishes MU could be like DePaul. Reasonable poster.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. If he keeps claiming DePaul is better than us, one of these years DePaul will finish ahead of us. Maybe next season, maybe 5 or 10 or 20 years from now, whenever.

Eventually, it will happen, and he'll be all "I told you so" without mentioning all the times he told us wrong before.

It's an easy game to play. For example ...

Marquette will win the Big East.

Appears voter fraud has infiltrated this Scoop poll. Hard to believe 5 unique Scoopers believe we will finish 1st.    My theory:  Chico’s/Warrior Dad/Billy Hoyle = 3 of the votes. Wadesworld another vote. Who is the other Scooper to predict 1st?

Btw I voted 9th without Carton/Perez. Best case scenario for #teamWojo gang? The season gets cancelled.
