Looks like everybody but Stan Bowman is getting heat for the collapse of the dynasty. Even though he's the one that ruined it IMO

Timing of this is way curious. If they were going to get rid of him for a while now, they had the easiest news dump possible with the NFL draft late last week.

Something fishy has to have happened here. The sleuth in me also notes the press release says McDonough was "released", which for someone of his nature and accomplishments is not the norm.

I got nervous reading the title. I thought it was Sean McDonough.

If Bowman got axed too, it would be the best possible unexpected front office cleansing 2 for 1 Chicago could hope for after GarPax. But without that happening this won’t fix the Hawks yet. Bowman is awful and seems to have a golden ticket

This. Bowman did jack for the rebuild of the core that was all Dale Tallinn's guys. Bowmans just road a right place right time situation for a decade and ran off the best coach in hockey during it

I follow hockey so I knew who it was, but some definitely won't without more description in the title.

My hockey limits are the Milwaukee Admirals and the Stanley Cup for the most part.
