Saw this on CNN.  Mayor of Los Angeles may prevent crowds for sporting events out there until 2021.  We play at UCLA this year in December if I recall.

So basically how most games @UCLA are played now days?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

This would suck.  We have lots of family who live in LA and several who are alums of UCLA.  We've been looking forward to a family get together for this game for a while.

Can't say I'm surprised though

There's a lot of crap and dire warnings floating around right now. I'd take 'em with a grain of salt.

Since nobody is operating with a playbook, nobody knows how to act.

My advice to you is get a playbook because certain areas do know how to act.

That would make it tough to name drop.

I would be very surprised if there are sporting evens with fans in the stands at any point in 2020.  If I were a betting man, my guess is we don't have any for the entire 2020-21 year.

It will be interesting to see what MU does for reseating this year.

Agree completely. I was thinking about this the other day. I'm sure many won't want to attend this year, but also won't want to lose STH points they have built up.

Information should be coming out next week.

Yup.  Older STHs or STHs with underlying conditions or family members with underlying conditions really have think long and hard about committing to season tickets.  Suspect most wont take the chance unless they would take cheaper seats and essentially view the cost of the tix as a contribution to maintain STH points and not actually attend games (if they even have games).  Obviously not just an MU issue.

I know I am. I will be 68 and I am a type 2 diabetic. I would be okay without going to games as long as the games remain on TV.

I'm going with the second wave coming early fall, so football is screwed, but basketball allows attendance by conference season.  But, get there early, they'll be checking your everybody's temperature on the way in.

They'll have to sell the Golden Eagle face masks outside the stadium.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Buy the seats and flood StubHub.

Commemorative 1977 championship facemask would make quite the memorable item for the time capsule.

Maybe a "screaming crowder" mask?

I wonder how much point spreads will be affected by empty venues. Lambeau field won't be as big an advantage without any fans.

It would not surprise me, if New York will be safer than most places. I would think they would have would have a much greater percentage of people who actually had it and did not get really sick than a City like Milwaukee.

Was planning on something similar. Have uncle, aunt, two cousins and their families that live in CA. My parents and I, my sister's family and our CA family (uncle and dad brothers) haven't all been in the same place at the same time since last CA cousins wedding in '04. Were considering making the MU - UCLA game and Thanksgiving the reunion. But as someone said, who knows where'll be at 7 days from now, let alone 7 months from now.
