It is lame - from the tradition of stories like some of those that Al would tell.

Here is the what came before that paragraph (from The Athletic) that was re-printed on Barstool.

I didn’t really have prior knowledge of the Marquette scoring record or anything like that. It wasn’t until after the game that they told me I had broken it."

So posting it from the athletic would be not lame?

Everyone realizes more eyeballs on Markus is better for MU, right?

And barstool - like them or not - has far more eyeballs than the athletic
