Honestly, almost everyone played great today. But Howard with a controlled, complete, and dominating game gets the nod.

It’s always tempting to look for a SOTG that isn’t Markus.

Markus. He plays like this (along with others being willing to take shots and being able to make some of them) and this team is dangerous. Let’s see if they can duplicate against a far better Seton Hall team.

Markus had several other games in which he passed just as well, but it's hard to get assists when teammates are throwing bricks. Creighton game leaps to mind.

This.

My favorite shot was that 'I can't believe he didn't get hit.  How did he toss that layup in exactly?'

Honorable mention: #thething  (Rowsey musta called and told him to start taking the hit.)

Yep. Wojo has done a very nice job managing their PT.

For example, Jayce couldn't compete against Creighton and Nova, so Theo got the majority in those games.

Not sure why some Scoopers insist on saying it must be an either-or thing. "Jayce is better. Play him." Nonsense.

Some opponents are more suited to Theo, some to Jayce. Some games Theo is playing better, sometimes it's Jayce. When both are playing equally well, the minutes are split accordingly.

If every Warrior executed his role as well as our center position does most games, we'd have a few more wins.

Also noticed since Ed left that Theo's foul troubles seemed to have waned a bit.  Clearly coaching staff telling him to be a bit more conservative defensively.  That bodes well for next year, especially if we don't have as capable as backup as Jayce next season.

On the down side he has watched or backed off to guard against the dump off and let some layups go unchallenged.

Other than QSR picks, the mods don’t let Topper anywhere near complex decision making other than the Arby’s condiment choice. As to the OP, Rocky is too busy with his craft beer, man yoga and ganja selections to pick the SOTG.

Time to give it to Howard so he can break another all-time Marquette record, most SOTG awards in a single season. He currently shares the record with himself from last year and Jae Crowder from 2012.

Technically, it's Frozena. He was named co-SOTG in 10-11. As for more legitimate ones, not sure. I'd guess maybe one of Otule or Gardner's performances
