I appreciate the it’s early weather the storm crowd, however, in order to keep them from scoring we might want to consider not allowing wide open dunks and threes. Just an observation.

Our offense is contested 3s and layups. Theirs is open shots and dunks. One of them is sustainable

Jwags will probably tell me I'm wrong when I point out Markus free throw shooting is also far out of wack for himself.

I’m genuinely curious to see what our offense is going to be next year.

Not the same Markus and therefore not the same team. Gotta hope he finds something again before it’s all said and done this season.

I still don't really understand most of the Wojo blame.

Sure, maybe he could try a little something different on offense.

But this is on the players. They cant make shots, they cant pass the ball, they cant dribble the ball. They are watching guys go for alley oops.

Like Wojo can't magically make that happen.

At somepoint the players have to ask themselves if they want to further embarrass themselves or wake up

Maybe give Markus a breather more often Woj? Played all 20 first half min & down 14

4/14
12 points
0 reb
1 assists (2 TO)

2 total team assists. Wouldn’t be the worst to have him rest for a bit and let the team actually run an offense

9 baskets made.  10 turnovers.  Bad

MU 2 assists, PU 10.  Terrible

MU has missed 5 layups, PU has 5 dunks.

Markus has missed at least 4 floaters and is in the mode where, my teammates suck and I am going to take over.  Not working real well.

Koby having another brutal game and has been on bench a very long time.  No points, 3 turnovers.

Players not performing (minus missed open shots) is directly related to coaching.

I will be glad when Howard is gone. This is not a basketball team. It is a one man show with four other guys whose only responsibilities are setting screens or getting the hell out of the way.

Our offense is terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I don’t know if our defense is also terrible or if their coach actually knows how to run an offense designed to get people open looks at the basket.

Stop and think about this for a moment...MU has allowed Providence to score...43 points at Halftime..They AVERAGE 70.3 PPG, ninth in the Big East..and all of this without their leading scorer scoring a point. They are shooting 59% overall and 58% from 3..PC is the worst shooting team in the Big East at 40% and on average shoot 32% from 3...not today. Great job MU...just fantastic.

We live in a society that rewards mediocrity , I detest mediocrity - David Goggi

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

I can't take it any more, turned it off.    The only thing left for MU to achieve here is to keep it within 20.

Waiting for the "winning on the road is hard" and "the BE is tough this year" and "MU lost a game it was supposed to lose" posts.

Don’t forget “Markus isn’t the same since his butler injury”.  Even though looking back at years previous he has a history of the late season fizzle

Saacr zero points, Koby zero points, Bailey zero points, Theo one layup made.  Four starters have one basket made.

What offense do we run again? Terrible D and 11 turnovers, what do they work on in practice?
