Love this win. Will help get the juices of victory rolling.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Well miss Ed
We'll miss his 5 fouls. But I'd MUCH rather have the other to centers on the floor.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

DePaul won and lost today?

Saw that. Nice work graphics department. The St. Johns logo was even right next to it.

Miss Ed’s rebounding and 5 fouls.  Hopefully they can work it out.

It was a "gray out" so fans were given free T's

Wojo: Give McKewen a permanent seat on bench. Johnson commits aboneheaded play.
Now we  let Yurt7  kill us.
McKewen is useless.

Great take by a basketball savant here.

And another...

"McKewen likely lost the game for us. What does it take for Wojo to bench him and give the keys to Symir?"

Maybe so, but it doesn’t make what I said inaccurate

Beyond just the fouls, Ed provides some added versatility should an opponent play small in the post.
Ed may be the rotational player MU can most survive without, but the team is still better with him.

Truth. Nothing but net too.

I don’t recall any player under Wojo who has gotten a longer leash than Koby.

The stupid comments just roll off ur tongue with seemingly zero effort

Truth. Though I notice the announcers were still on board with "currently away from the team for personal reasons".

Hopefully he's back for SJU, because I think with their chaos style, we could really use minutes from Ed.

I'd rather have him on the team as well, but only if he was happy in a senior-year-Matt-Heldt role.  MU much better when Theo and Jayce are on the floor.

Do the positives of Ed coming back outweigh the negatives?

Team chemistry and unity seem pretty good right now.

I guess if he came back with a good mindset..... Though there's no way to know that for sure, even if he did return. It's a tough situation for Ed and the team.

Actually, I won't miss his 5 fouls. They were detrimental to the team. Just as detrimental as going one-on-one every time he got the ball.

Ed worked very hard, but was usually not very effective.

ed was having a rough year.  i think he is better than what he has shown...maybe, if he returned, it could serve as an inspiration to the whole team

I pretty much agree.  As I said to Topper elsewhere, if Ed were to return and accept a senior-year-Matt-Heldt role, i.e., no expectations of minutes but there in case we needed the depth, it would be beneficial.  There will be a game or two where that would be incredibly helpful and lacking it may cost them a game somewhere down the road.  We saw there was one game where Matt was absolutely essential and they would have lost without him.

Doubt it happens, but it would be a great safety blanket at the 5.
