Looks like we significantly over rated the talent. is there any player on this team that has lived up to expectations? other than howard?

Maybe (though Johnson for sure. Seven footers dint grad transfer if they're any good, they go pro), or maybe it's the "Let Markus do whatever the he'll he wants" offense.  He's over 40% shooting only once in BE games (42.5% against PC) and other than USC his only game over 50% against a high major is 6-12 against Purdue. 12 shots is about right. The Hausers were right to complain.

McEwen is an all-conference talent.  For whatever reason, Wojo can't get it out of him.

Woj got in bed wit Markus from da jump and bye golly he's goin' down wit da fookin' ship, aina?

I don't know how soft they are but Wojo's offense never gets them any easy looks.
MU had a crap ton of open looks, they just failed to make many, many of them.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

At the open practice this year Wojo specifically said, we were much more dangerous this season.  We had the ability to attack the basket AND shoot from the perimeter.  He assured us we would not be so one dimensional and much more difficult to guard - and I believed him.

He lied.

We launch 3's, we don't get to the free throw line, we don't attack the basket and we don't put any pressure on the defense.  Same soft offense we have been seeing for years under Wojo.

In addition, the turnovers continue to be a huge problem and defensively we can't defend without fouling, as we have seen each of the last 6 years.

I have defended Wojo for 5 years.  And, as badly as I want him to succeed, it is clear his approach is not working.  I don't want to start over, and lose our recruiting class, but it might be time to move on.

I won't be fooled the next time he lies to the fanbase.

You are wrong.

We are 19th in the country in shooting FT's  19th.  You don't get to the FT line without putting pressure on the defense.

We are 312th in the country in 2P shooting %.  So when we do get to the rim or feed the post, we are missing shots.  Today Theo missed two bunnies, Jayce traveled on another.  Even Markus has missed in the lane more than he has in the past.  Guys are at the point where they are no passing up decent shots in the lane for whatever reason.

And the last 7 games, our TO% has actually been pretty good to really good.

So bitch about Wojo, but at least get some facts straight when you do.

Your last line is where I'm at. I'm disappointed with the start to conference play. There is a lot to complain about, so at least make valid complaints.

Sucks our NC schedule went to hell. USC 81 Kenpom, Kansas state is 7-7 overall & sub 100. And our best win Purdue just lost its 7th game heading into Michigan State & @ Maryland next

This is how I know our fan base is delusional.  Jayce Johnson is a steaming pile of crap.  As physically ungifted as any 7 footer in division 1 basketball.

Yeah, I mean it's not great. Just odd to me to direct the complaining towards Jayce after the past 2 games.

Eastern or Western Conference.  He'll be in the NBA.
Who are you talking about?  Koby?  He can't even make a layup or even hit the rim.

Hit two threes today and a reverse layup. No airballs that I recall.

Again, there are a lot of real issues to complain about. Keep your complaints accurate and critical and the board will be far more tolerable.
