Questions on the new "Uniforms" Happy now?
« on: October 06, 2019, 01:30:40 PM »
Are they adding the horizontal stripes on every color?

Also, how did they get approval for them since the NCAA made that ruling against the Bumble bees? Did the ncaa quietly take that rule away?

Every jersey had the horizontal stripes before. They just weren’t as prominent until the baby blues at the end of last season.

Based on DaRon Holmes pictures on Twitter, they are a lot more pronounced this year.

I’m aware. I’m just saying the jersey the past few years all had the stripes as well. Just not as thick until the baby blues last season.

So are we just pushing our luck that the NCAA doesn't enforce that archaic rule?

Is this really a worry — what’s the worst that happens.  They ask us to stop wearing the jersey’s.

It would actually be pretty funny to see the press reaction if they did try to enforce it.

Not a worry, just genuinely curious is we're sticking to the man? If they made an exception? Or did we find a loophole?

Am I the only one who keeps seeing this and wonders why we have questions about the Armpit of America?

I'm still trying to figure out where the other New Jerseys are?  And how many are there?

I happen to live in the Armpit and love it.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Looked like the uniforms were the same as last years? Maybe they only changed the championship blues and the navy blues to have more pronounced stripes.

I agree.  The white unis have some cool details when seen close up, but from a distance those details get lost and they do become painfully dull and bland.

Didn't the original tweet say there would be tweaks and changes over the next couple years?  Maybe this year just got tweaks before new jerseys next season?

It seems like next season would be a good time with the end of the Markus era and the hopefully awesome 2020 class coming in.

Sort of like when they tweaked the 3 amigos/lazar era jerseys with the slight curve and added front stripe for the 2012-15 seasons?
