Do you hate it when people refer to a game as the "most important game of the year" before the season even begins? If so, then you probably won't like this preview, because in terms of the preseason schedule, Davidson is the most important game of the year. Not only are the Wildcats really good and really difficult to gameplan against, but this is the only game that independently has the ability to impact the strength of schedule and the makeup of our opponents by Quadrant. This is a big one.

Game day. Davidson hasn't delivered as expected in the non-conference, failing to win a game away from home. But this is still a team with no one under 6'5" in the starting lineup, numerous offensive threats, and a proven coach. Bring on the Wildcats.
