Thanks for sharing! I wasn’t sure what happened in the game until now.

Diener was a bit colorful off the court during his MUBB days but it would be great to see him back on the MU bench at some point. Guy bleeds blue and gold. Would love it if he got a HC job at some mid-major, had some success, and then we pick him up in 2025 after Wojo departs for Dook following our National Championship.

I think some people have said he wasn't a fan of the things associated with college coaching. Would probably be seen in the NBA or something.

He already did that. Loved it so much he went back to Italy.

The alum that intrigues me down the line is Chapman. His camp has hundreds of attendees with connections to dozens of AAU programs. He might be a good replacement if Stan or Dwayne find themselves in line for a HC job.

always a big fan of travis, but other than remembering joe as a decent role player, curious how he evolved with the camps and all.

My take is the following:

1. Bright young guy
2. Good with people
3. Enterprising
4. Disciplined
5. Integrity

Put that together in a pretty package and you have a nice business.

1a.  Absolutely hates to lose.  Which can be good and bad as a coach.  Travis as a player took losses pretty poorly.  Hopefully as a coach there will be more perspective.

Joe's CBA program has a dozen plus AAU teams of its own.  He certainly works with kids outside of his program but he has 100+ kids playing under the CBA name.  Many of which were very successful this spring / summer on a state and regional level.  It's very impressive how he has built CBA.

You are thinking of David Diggs.....Joe was a comm major.

"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me.” Al McGuire

Ah yes, you are correct... I thought I was right, but the timeline didn't add up either.

My bad.
