Feeling blessed by his Jesuit experience, alumnus Ike Eke ‘17, wanted to pay it forward. Using his own savings, he had a basketball court built for the young men in Enugu, Nigeria. He also brought them basketball shoes! Ike is just one example of a UDJ Man for Others. @ike_eke

thats cool. whats most amazing is that a college student had the kind of money to pour a concrete basketball court. I didnt have enough money to buy chalk to draw the lines at his age.

You get quite a bit when you dont have to pay for anything while in college.

Hmmmm? Someone replied that he couldn't imagine how someone in college could afford to pay for this. I told him how it was possible. No one is "pissing in anyone's cornflakes" you just failed to comprehend/read the full thread.

What is the cost of building a court in his homeland?  I’m guessing very light compared to what it would cost in the States.
