I was talking with someone at work about Bond last week.

There was a bit of trouble as some parents were upset with him.

I remember meeting Bond and his (1st) wife Catherine, I was walking home and saw them in the yard .. they'd just moved in, but had a MU flag flying, so I called out "Go Marquette" and they instantly came to talk to me.    Bumped into them a number of times until they moved to Iowa.  Didn't know about the divorce, so yay Scoop.

Well, Bond is 48 and she is 28. That is a difference. Heck, one of his daughters is pushing 21 years old.

Was not aware of that. Thought he had really young kids. His son would hang out in the student section for volleyball games.

Though I guess that would have been like six years ago now. Yikes...

Half the age plus seven equals thirty one. I'm gonna call a violation here.

Double the younger (his/her) age minus seven.  All good.  Bad equations matta.

Using double the younger minus seven, a 14 year old could date a 21 year old? An 18 year old with a 29 year old? ick. Bad equations indeed.

Doc, I find having a younger wife keeps a man on his toes. It struck me though that in a few years she is going to hit 40 and will no longer be a young wife.

The mail order bride service wont let you trade in the baby David's mother for a new, younger version?

Or have you hit OBLS status?

Not sure what brilliant sonuvabitch invented stiletto high heels but he needs enshrinement in a Hall of Fame. I would suggest he gets honored in the same gilded wing as the Yoga Pants Inventor.

It's a little creepy since he very likely coached against his now wife when she played for UNI and was in college.

Why is that creepy, though?

There is an age difference but he asked and she said yes. If they love each other then age is irrelevant.

Personally, i prefer to look at a partner who makes lulu lemons shine than one who needs support hose and spanx.

Ten pounds in a five pound bag is...frightening.

So long as someone says “yes” nothing can be creepy. That’s an interesting perspective.

For me its creepy as far as my personal view on it but its entirely their relationship and if it works for them then love is love and mozeltof. I'm just saying in the se position I wouldn't be down for it
