Doesn't bother me.  Gives perspective.   Sometimes, American college teams lose.

Classic Herman. No one cares.....if Creighton goes 3-0 and 0-3 makes no difference in non-con much less a Euro Tour, but it’s a thread entitled Foreign Tour so you just couldn’t resist.
I'm just happy he didn't start a separate thread for the Creighton foreign tour.

No.  They may stream segments on social media though.

Watching the Twitter feed. Really nice underhand scoop alley-oop from Koby to Theo, and Sacar is looking quick and strong on drives.

Looks like they are playing a pick up team from the local park.

Wonder if the staff noticed this and saw it as a good opportunity for the team to get some minutes without Markus. Give other guys more opportunities.

Marquette up 79-35 at the end of three. Sacar has 18 to lead all scorers. Cruising to our third win over a team of professional All-Stars, clearly we are going to win the National Championship this year.

Gave up 19 points at half but 16 in the third.  Suicides after?

111-47 final score. MU Twitter says almost everyone was in double figures.

Can't make out everybody on the court in all the videos. But Wojo and the coaches are definitely taking a good look at two-big lineups.

In the second game clip, Jayce and Ed are playing together. They're also playing together in the extended video (3:25) later down the page. And again a couple clips later.

Then we see Jayce and Theo playing together in the longest clip (5:27) at the end. This lineup features Koby, Sacar, Jamal, Theo and Jayce.

How'd the two-big offense do?
Looking at all those clips, I counted a total of 15 possessions. The team shot 8-13 (61.5%) from 2-point range -- including a sick alley-oop dunk from Koby to Theo on the pick and roll, along with several breakaway layups/dunks.

Just two 3-point attempts (both misses). Five offensive rebounds, two fouls drawn, and 2 turnovers. Feel free to correct me if I messed something up (which is quite likely).

Takeaways
With two bigs in the game, the defensive focus seems to be on bigs initiating the break at every opportunity -- even on rebounds -- with guards looking to drive the basket for layups, dunks and fouls. I actually don't remember seeing any steals.

In the set offense, the emphasis on inside play (drives and post-ups versus three-point shooting) and offensive rebounding was striking.

Clearly, MU was not facing a very competitive team. But getting an early look at two-big lineups is intriguing, to say the least.

BTW, watching a handful of brief video clips shot with a smart phone and posted to Twitter is a very disjointed, unsatisfying way to appreciate Marquette basketball. I know it's just a scrimmage. But if you're going to put it online, why not do it right?

Yeah, I know something is better than nothing.

I looked back at the box scores for the first two games. Theo, Ed and Jayce combined for 55 and 54 minutes, respectively. That means MU was playing a 2-big lineup for at least 14 minutes in each game -- or roughly 35% of the time.

Individual stats (minutes and scoring) for those 2 games:

Markus 27.0 mpg, 16.5 ppg
Sacar 25.5 mpg, 14.0 ppg
Koby 22.5 mpg, 5.5 ppg
Brendan 22.0 mpg, 10.0 ppg
Ed 19.5 mpg, 12.0 ppg
Theo 19.5 mpg, 11.5 ppg
Jamal 18.5 mpg, 8.0 ppg
Jayce 15.5 mpg, 6.5 ppg
Symir 15.0 mpg, 1.0 ppg
Dexter 14.0 mpg, 2.0 ppg

Sounds like the twin towers strategy will indeed be in play. It will be interesting to watch. I've said for awhile now that this team is more talented on paper than last season....but it will require a major switch in offensive philosophy from past seasons in order for it to work. We will see if Wojo and co are up to the task.

I'm not sure it's more talented.....it's more physical and athletic.........probably less skilled without The Hausers.

It will be interesting........can't see the offense being as good but the defense and rebounding should/could be better.

Forcing more turnovers and taking better care of the ball are the keys for me. Need to get some easy points from the defense that we didn't get last season.
