Kobe averaged 5.0 defensive rebounds per game in his last year at Utah State. Joey averaged 4.4 defensive rebounds last year.

Just sayin'.

Athleticism matters.

Kobe only got the easy rebounds

Markus and Koby just chucking up shots unless Greg can play point...remind us of Howard and Rowsey

Koby can drive without getting destroyed like Rowsey was though. Seems to be built like DJO. If we get anything near that from him I'm ecstatic

I think we have enough evidence at this point to surmise that Wojo prefers distributing ball-handling responsibilities among multiple players. We have not had a primary point guard in years now. In other words, barring a philosophy change, he is not going to force a player into the lineup to play PG unless they are one of the 5 best players on the team.

A quick, strong 6'4" guy who can drive reminds you of Rowsey?

Plus I'm guessing he's not an all-time horrific defender like Rowsey was.

I think there's a chance we're significantly better defensively this year than last, with similar if not better eFG% (which was excellent) and much better at turning over the opposition (we were terrible at this last year). If it's close to a wash offensively (more high percentage transition buckets and dribble drive paint touches for open looks) then we'll be more than fine. In fact, probably built better for tournament success.

Plus Tax, and I think a big reductions of TO's.

A guard with the size and strength to get to the rim.    Bailey lack of turnovers versus Joey turnovers.   Assuming health, there is a lot to be optimistic about for next season.
