Juan Anderson's Mixtape

First year that players can sign with an agent and retain college eligibility.

Will be interesting to see the effects.

He's a first rounder for sure... good decision.

yeah no hes not

I agree with this analysis.  Guys like him are a dime a dozen in the NBA.  If I had to guess:  Undrafted, G League, maybe a couple 10 day contracts if he's lucky.  Even if he can hire an agent and retain eligibility, he's not coming back to school.

Mid/late second round. Difference between him and Markus is a couple inches and far better assist to turnover ratio, slight edge to Markus in putting the ball in the basket. I still maintain Markus would be undrafted this year and right now ponds is a far better pro prospect

Herman Cain

I think the young man has some solid skills at point guard. Mullin has said he would poll all the GM's in the league on Shamories behalf, so apparently the feedback was positive.

He will make money...but it might not be in the league he wants.

Thats only if he isn't drafted, which he will be.

It's a matter of if he can get into the 1st round...which I just don't see.

Having watched more G league than I care to admit, I think Ponds will eventually be a starter there.

I think Ponds is a mid 2nd round to undrafted.  Sounds like he's gone no matter what,  but there is a real possibility Ponds goes undrafted.

This.

I hope he gets what he wants out of life.

So I am assuming Paschall will go in the second round. Is it rare that not a single player from a conference will go first round? Is it even more rare when only one player from a conference gets drafted in both rounds?  Obviously we all know this was an off year and this exemplifies it even more. I don't think the BEast is going to go away but minus Nova it sure seems like recruits aren't dying to get in.

If i dont feel another year of college will help me get drafted higher...id be gone.  Especially if im likely playing overseas...need to make as much $ as you can before age kicks in.

If he could take Myles Powell with him that'd be great

I'm being serious...does Max Strus have a shot at getting drafted?

Does he have anything he does exceptionally?  He's not a great outside shooter.  He's not slow but he's not outstandingly athletic.  He's got decent SG size, but too short without that athleticism to be a productive SF.

He's a nice college player who has a skillset to have a good high level European career in Spain, Italy, or Greece.
