Cool down period
« on: March 22, 2019, 06:01:28 PM »
Yesterday, was furious at Wojo and his double teaming.

Stayed away, attempted to cool down.

Then I read this from Dwyane Wade.

https://twitter.com/DwyaneWade/status/1108874880769032194

Kansas State then lost.  Cincinnati lost.

Wisconsin lost.

That time of year.  I am convinced if you want to win a game in the NCAA tournament, be a top 3 seed, otherwise settle for 6 through 11 because you avoid the hot teams.

Cannot wait until next year starts.

Yup. Same coach  same players, but we all assume we will be way better. Wash and repeat.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Ha, Cheekz, thought you finally gave it up. No one's changing their mind about anything because you adopt a different account name. Go be with your family and chill, friend. Snap some grainy photos of a sunset and post them here if you'd like.

I love it.  I absolutely love.  I mean it Lenny, when I'm dead (and proven...hopefully long down the road) and these guys are still posting, please make a $1000 donation (which you can afford) to Juvenile Diabetes in my honor.  A simple note of "I'm sorry" and then, please treat these guys with respect.  Makes me chuckle every time.

Who do you have from the NCAA assistant pool that is coming to replace Wojo since we only get good coaches at MU that are assistants?  Haven't heard a name yet, please offer a few.

"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me.” Al McGuire

No matter the length of the cool down period, it will not change the fact that Wojo desperately needs and older X's and O's coach on the bench next to him.  Someone familiar with the concept of game planning and in-game adjustments.

That addition Las off-season likely makes the last six weeks of this season look very different, imo.

If I recall correctly, that's pretty much the role Hank filled for Al. Not sure about the in-game adjustments part, although I imagine he provided advice.
