Joey has turned into a long end of the bench type of player last month or so
He has lost all touch on his shot - and his confidence has plummeted.

Mike Deane's Seat Belt

Yup zero confidence hopefully that post up play gets him going.  His jumper is gonzo tho

muguru

22 points?? MU needs to speed this game up

Gotta get a butt into someone on the boards.

JWags85

Probably not a flagrant on Brunk but just a douchebag play. Theo don't play that sh**

Lighthouse 84

Good comeback. Good D at the end. Let's come out with some fire the second half!

Sam please start hitting shots

Then we got this

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Shoot 20% from 3 in a half and that'll happen. Hit your shots in the second half and we should be fine.

Point of those fouls?
slow them down, take them out of their rhythm and give them less time on the clock with their set.

Apprently it is to try to throw them of their rythem. Nonsense imo

Agree. Dumb. And please don't use that Butler didn't score as proof that this was a good idea.
Just put unnecessary pressure on Sacar now going into the 2nd half.

Sacar getting his second isn't great, but it's smart strategy. Most teams run a 15 second set. Shortening that can disrupt flow. Basically forced them into iso.

Time was our opponent there.  Smart and Jamal played some great defense there.  More minutes, please!

Seems like most team's 15 second set is for one guy to dribble for the first 7 seconds any way

We R Final Four

Not at the expense of one of those fouls being on Sacar. Stupid.
18 seconds vs. 12 seconds vs.
8 seconds.
Terrible trade off.

It was a good idea.  They rushed into a simple pick and roll versus running a set.  I wouldn't do it regularly but it clearly worked there.

Right there with you Dr.  More PT for Jamal.

Nice minutes for Jamal. Depth is nice

Why not? If you think it's a good idea, and believe that strategy clearly worked there, why wouldn't you use it regularly?
It's a bad trade off. 2 fouls. One, to a player who may be needed to defend Baldwin deep in the 2nd half with 4 fouls. For what? Attempting to get the opposition to potentially rush their set one time? No way.
