Beaten to death elsewhere.     Or were you intentionally trying to get Chico's attention with the Crean symbol?

It was in the DePaul SOTG thread I think.  Do you ever read the posts there?   ;)

Damnit, now you tricked me into reading that thread.  It's not there.

I only read the easy threads.  And those that mention Arby's.

Third thread on this now.   Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

He also apologized, not that it matters...he shouldn’t have said it.

He said what was in his mind and heart. "Apologized" when he was pretty much universally called out as a douche. Likely his bosses at Georgia wrote it for him.

Serious question, chicos. Maybe you've answered it in the past; if so, I haven't seen it.

I have seen you make many references to Crean being a d-bag, to him being an arse to you, etc. But you almost always leap to defend him. Sure, if he does something really egregious, you say something like, "He shouldn't have done that." But mostly, you stand up for him even if it's obvious to most that he's done something d-baggy (again).

I'd be curious to hear why you are so loyal to a guy who personally treated you badly.

And again, just for context, I am not in the "eff Crean and his mother too" crowd. I appreciate the good he did for our program, but I do with he weren't a d-bag and I feel no need to defend him for his d-baggery.

Said it in a previous thread and will say it again. This was intentional and calculated by Crean. He wants transfers out of the program in order to bring better players in.

I don’t defend his d-baggery.

But I also have no problem exposing those that hate on him but love on coaches at our university that made d-baggery a steroid option compared to him.  The hypocrisy is amazing

You could say that about 99% of all apologies that people give.  One you realize the pain caused and the reaction, that’s usually when the light goes on and the apologies start coming.  Welcome to the human condition.

i can acknowledge some good things about tc, but i will also admit that starting with his exit and the more we got to know him afterwards, tipped the scales toward i hope he gets the help he needs

as for his recent comment, not sure if i've ever heard a self-deprecating comment followed by a nut shot to your what was once known as your team

Yep...like calling the kid in, and having the decency to say to his face "I think you'll get more playing time elsewhere."

Reminds me of something my father used to say about some people:  "Nobody thinks more of Tom Crean than I do, and I think he's an pretty boy."

Seriously, what a douchebag.

No mention of Crean landing one of the best NBA prospects for the 2020 NBA Draft?

Guess our time here at Scoop is devoted too much to wishing Wojo could land that kind of talent. And Arby's of course. Always Arby's.

My eyes went straight for the Ferragamos too. They pair well with his 80's Wall Street look.

See, you really do learn something everyday.
I was never aware that Crean actually hired the preacher from Hoosiers as an assistant coach.
