Didn't see Wojo's presser and not seeing it on the MU site.

Does anybody know what he said about Markus and Morrow, especially regarding their status for Sunday?

Chartouney, Cain, Bailey, and Heldt will all contribute in games when the matchups are favorable.  Don't give up on any of them.

Well after last night's win Wojo should bring Markus in only in the 2nd half where he can score 40 and put the opposition away.

when do you think we will get a status update on Markus and Morrow?

I would imagine theres no incentive in letting it be known too early so that providence has less time to prepare for the lineup they will likely see but maybe not.

Really hope we get one or both back by sunday.

Joey? He does a zillion valuable things on the court. He is the least of our problems.

Thankfully we don't have that many problems compared to the rest of the teams in the conference, especially if Markus gets back soon.

The thing that stood out for me with Bailey was his on ball defense, he stayed locked-on their shifty/fast PG and had some nice blocks and help D too

Hoping that Jamal gets some burn too, maybe his breakout game is coming

Markus has had back spasms in the past. Hope this is not a recurring issue for him.

Agree. But after last night, I suspect Brendan moved past Joseph on the depth chart.

Concerned that since Wojo intimated this thing has acted up a little lately when he does return he will either be hesitant to drive And/or opponents will be eager to put him on the ground when he does - such is life for a stud

Get some icy hot on there and it will be fine. That was the solution our high school golf coach used for everything. Granted he was the former football coach who had gotten too senile for the job, but he’d rub it in with the roughest towel he could find and send you on your way. Don’t think a single player missed a match all season.

Joey and Jamal haven’t played all that great of late so yes, their time will be cut.  But they will still be given the opportunity to get in there and play, and if they contribute, playing time will increase.

BB played 1 minute over the weekend.  Gets put in last night and contributes and plays 27 minutes.

Want to play more? Contribute. Do your job.

Are you nuts? Joey has been playing great.  He's a good candidate for BE freshman of the year.

JC will play and if he struggles he will have a short hook...same approach Wojo has taken with BB and Cain.

JC just needs to stop thinking and start ballin' and he'll be fine

Joseph is hesitant in passing and shooting.  He needs to get over that hurdle and all will be better.

Judging by how Brendan shut down Akinjo, maybe his confidence problem comes from Bailey guarding him in practice??

Totally agree. Back spasms are crazy.  They can crop up out of basically nowhere and with treatment be gone after they finally relax.  Markus even looked more limber on the bench in the second half and was routinely celebrating with his teammates.  I think he'll be just fine after getting daily treatment this week.
Hope you are right but are you a Dr? Or just a Holiday Inn specialist?

Wojo reiterated that Markus and Ed were questionable on the radio show tonight. Just my interpretation, but I thought he didn’t seem at all concerned that either were expected to be long-term injuries, but that neither were sure things for Sunday. Said they’ll wait until Markus is 100% to bring him back,
