Final power ratings 2013-2019
« on: April 13, 2019, 12:44:16 PM »
Updated through end of season.  I averaged them out as well

"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me.” Al McGuire

Should have reversed the numbers in the graph.

I'm just impressed by how similar all five ranking systems were for 2019 (at least on us).  Up until 2019 there was at least one WAY above or below the others.  This year, each system had us between 29 and 31.

Interesting that MU’s Ken Pom was higher in 2019 than the 2017 team. I suspect the difference was the Nova upset.  The 2019 team was definitely better.

Relative to the other teams in that year.  This year’s team better, but maybe more teams better that us this year then in 2017.

Our Pomeroy rating changed the most of all of these once the tournament started.
