Villanova is playing UNC in a scrimmage. The sport would be better served if that was a regular season game.

Nova plays at Kansas, UConn on a neutral, 2018 NC runners up Michigan, the Big 5 games, and a tournament that will give them games against Ok State/Memphis and likely LSU or FSU. They only play 2 sub-175 kenpom opponents. That's more than adequate.

I know and understand that, but that wasn't my point that UNC and Villanova is not playing anyone. They do! Just wish that was a regular season game or heck an exhibition game, not a closed door scrimmage where none of hoop fans can enjoy.

I hear ya.
I think the conference "Challenges" have been nice...they seem to match up teams on conference levels relatively similar. Not perfect, max one match per team...but I like that. I think ACC-Big10 thing has been going on for 20 years or so.  BE had something with the SEC for awhile...not sure if KState is part of that or its done....time to google.
