We're #4 (at shooting)

According to Andy Katz, MU is the fourth best shooting team in the country.
Maybe underrated, IMO.

I have been rewatching last season's MU games the last couple of weeks where I was reminded how much we are going to miss Andrew, especially how he could space the floor. I was also reminded that the freshmen really provided some critical playing time, with a lot of minutes as Andrew and Markus were in early foul trouble a lot. (Oddly, Harry provided some key minutes in many of our BE games which I didn't really remember as I only remembered the bad.)

That said, we can still shoot it but I think our height, skill, and with Joe as a distributor, our offense will be more balanced this year. Don't sleep on the Sophs...they were really good at times last season.

Virginia at #1...?  They sure have trouble scoring in many games (including UMBC).

And for some reason he inserts a 2min clip showing defensive drills where the first 1:20 nothing falls except a layup.  Really showcasing the offensive prowess.

Hey, it's the NCAA.  They can't afford watchdogs or editors.

I would argue that we have the top shooting duo in the country in Howard and Hauser. I assume we got docked for the depth after that. Jamal and Elliot were accurate last season but at a low volume. Bailey and Baby Hauser are billed as shooters but are unproven. Chartouny was a shooter his sophomore year but not last year. I can see why we aren't #1 but could see a clear path to #1 if things go as we hope.

"Overall, the returning group made 42.4 percent of its 3s."

...which would have been #1 in the NCAA's last year instead of #3

#1 Virginia hit 38.3% (#38)
#2 UNC hit 35.9% (#112)
#3 Gonzaga hit 36.8% (#85)

Also our 3PA as a % of FGA was 44%, those other 3 teams were in the mid-30's.

We were #2 FT% in the NCAA at 80.5%. Gonzaga was #200 at 70.8%, North Carolina was #68 at 74.3%, and Virginia was #47 at 75.4%.

Unless they have a different definition of shooting, this is article is complete nonsense!

Why is UNC 2??

Do they have a bunch of incoming guys that can really shoot it??

I never think elite shooting when I hear UNC
