The great thing about Ike is that the team doesn't need him to be a hero this year.    Third big.    With tall forwards around him.   Next year, he will have to contribute.

Actually, I think this team needs exactly zero from him. Anything good will be gravy, but it's not needed.

Kid is built like Tarzan and supposedly fleet of foot due to his futbol playing days. If he can stay healthy and develop the basketball skills to match that athleticism he will be a stud.

Barring injuries, we are in agreement.  Third big.   Maybe a particular matchup or foul trouble for a few minutes when, instead of offense, Wojo goes for defense.

Matt and Theo are both in foul trouble  (or one out sick and one in foul trouble), Ike goes in for a few minutes.     Sure, Morrow, Sam, Joey, and Bailey are all tall enough to play a minute or two at the 5.    IMO, this is a learning year for Ike.   Next year, with Matt gone, he will have to start producing behind Theo.

"Third big" I wouldn't agree with. Would put Matt, Theo, Ed and Joey all ahead. Plenty of options. Hope he exceeds my expectations, but then again.. we're fine if he doesn't and maybe, in a way, better off. Good year to practice and learn.
