Will be fun to see Travis play again.  If Novak is in shape it would sure be fun to watch.

Yesterday, The Basketball Tournament (TBT) announced a partnership with the BIG EAST Conference to host a four-team tournament at Marquette University, comprised of alumni teams from four BIG EAST schools.  Alumni teams from Marquette, Georgetown, Seton Hall and St. John's will face off at the Al McGuire Center June 30 and July 1, with the winner advancing to TBT's Super 16. The Marquette team - Golden Eagles Alumni – has made it to TBT’s Round of 8 each of the past two years. Two members from last year’s team – Jamil Wilson & Dwight Buycks – went on to appear in the NBA during the 2017-18 season. The other three alumni teams are new to TBT.

TBT features a 72-team bracket made up of top-notch professional basketball players, featuring former college stars, international basketball stars, ex-NBA players, future NBA players and more competing in a single-elimination 5on5 tournament for a winner-take-all $2 million prize. Fans win 10%, or $200,000, of the $2 million prize.

As a valued season ticket member of Marquette basketball, we'd like to offer you an exclusive pre-sale opportunity prior to tickets going on sale to the  general public.  Season ticket members may begin to purchase today at 10 a.m. and general public tickets will go on sale Tuesday, May 28.   All-session (all three games) and single day general admission tickets will be available for purchase and can be done by clicking on the box below. A portion of the tournament's proceeds will benefit the MACC Fund.

Does anyone actually know what the convenience fee is for? I mean if you get them direct from the ticket office what is that fee for?

The fact that you don't have to haul your butt down to the ticket office to pick them up in person...

I have no idea.  I am not sure how many season ticketholders are aware of the tournament, or what the interest level is.

Team looks weak compared to last year. How about Gardner? Blue? Novak?

Gardner rode the pine last year, IIRC.  Not really the best format for his skills.

This team needs Buycks or Vander or its not going that deep.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Gardner dominated until he ran out of gas.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Can't find any box scores. But Gardner was a dominate force on the team. Until he got whomped by a 7 footer.
