That's funny you say that. In 2009 when Americans got rid of the picture tube tv's and we all have these 50 inch flat screens in HD. I thought the picture was so great, I didn't want to get the glass dirty. We now only smoke in the basement.

This is the beauty of podcasts. There are a ton of options, and it's not hard to find guys that are both likable and know what they're talking about.

When they play like crap, that is also my job to point out. I am not a cheerleader, not paid for that. I am paid to put my personal opinions out there on Twitter and on radio. You can agree or disagree...I don't really care. You can put your personal opinions on Twitter as well...I don't follow you, and I'm not really interested.



However, if Marquette does not make the tournament, I expect you will put in BIG, BOLD LETTERS on Twitter that you were wrong, and quite rude as well. I doubt you will....

This is hysterical. Professional. His profession is as a radio personality. There's no insider knowledge of the sport required for to be a regional radio blowhard (note: I didn't say that it requires no work or that it's not a profession).

By his logic, how awful must the Badgers be for them to get destroyed by this Marquette team that we "don't know how good" their conference is AND finish under .500 in the Big 10 that we don't know how good they are.

That said, I have no knowledge of Dan Needles other than piggybacking off Brew ripping him on Twitter for saying MU was toast weeks ago that got me blocked in 1 comment. But from what little I do know, he's an MU hating moron.

He has said on numerous occasions that he IS a Marquette fan and wants to see them in the Tournament. It is not his fault that we lost to the 2 bottom feeders in the league. Saying we weren't going to make it after those two "stinkers" does not mean he hates MU.


The majority of "MU hating morons" here feel the same way.

I don't know about there majority. Seems pretty split. Will likely depend on what other teams do if 1-1 is what happens. We shall see.

I disagree, this guy is a right on. He's using the same universally accepted logic that plagued MLB. Admit it, no one had any idea how good any baseball team was until the World Series was played for the first 100 years or so of Major League Baseball. Remember when most people thought the Big Red Machine of the 70's couldn't beat a double A team until they proved they were legit by beating American League teams in the WS? It's the same with these silly college basketball conferences with teams that play games against each other.  Only Bud Selig can fix this!

Well, one of the bottom feeders is St. John's who we did lose to, but also beat. As I recall, that bottom feeder did manage to whip the darling of College BB, Duke. So that should give the Numbnuts Needles a good idea of how tough the BEast is. Now we did lose to the other stinker, DePaul, which was totally unacceptable. We do have a chance to redeem that loss with a thorough ass kicking of them on a neutral floor. But we better lock in to that redemption.
