« on: February 15, 2018, 08:01:19 PM »
Wisconsin beat #6 Purdue tonight (the Boilermakers 3rd straight loss) and fans stormed the court. How the mighty have fallen.

All while honoring 3rd year and incredibly mediocre NBA player Frank Kaminsky. I mean, he was great in college, but come on, wait a few years before retiring his jersey. Although if they wait too much longer, it might be tough for him to catch a flight home from whatever European country he'll be playing in by then. That could be embarrassing.

You mean they should honor former players based on how they do on TNT???

(Cough cough) Doc (cough cough)

Frank is an ass but the dude led them to TWO final fours including a Championship game.  It’s fine.

TC didn’t even let Wade land in Miami before he retired his number.

And unlike Wade, Frank graduated. Peak Badger obsession in this thread.

Who cares they’re 12-16 and irrelevant, let them have their fun. Badger obsession is strong on this board, I wish we would never talk about them.

Sounds touristy. No thanks. Maybe brunch at Benelux? You seem defensive to my presenting the fact that MU threw our standards out to retire a number.

I don’t mind Benelux but it’s a little bit of false hustle

Let’s catch a real breakfast.  PM me.

Currently? I would say no. Get back to me when their conference winning % falls to .385 and they've lost 5 or their last 6. If both of those things happens they're at least in the team picture.

He was National Player of the Year.  You retire that number.

I mean, do you think Marquette shouldn't have retired Butch Lee's number?  He lead MU to a national championship and was also national player of the year, but did squat in the NBA.

There's nothing funnier than a giant 7-foot red clown with size 18 feet and a goofy face.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

This.

Also, we would like an "opportunity" to storm any court.

I'll just say again that when I was at MU we rushed the court after beating South Florida in the NIT so I don't see what's so bad about this.

True, but if we had beaten Purdue earlier this year, I'm pretty damn sure there would not have been any court storming.

Don't see the problem. Like us when we best nova it was the highlight and game of the year. Who cares that it was #6 instead of #1. When your having that bad of a season your looking for anything.
