we don't/won't.... This team does not have what it takes to sweep Creighton, and i still expect them to slip against St. Johns, DePaul, or GTown.

Sit back, look for the young team to grow and hope for the best next year.

Hahahaha hahahaha.

Where are those calling out chcken littles after the Butler loss? Are they still chicken littles today? Or on Wednesday?
Perhaps we saw what this team is and some didn’t? Even though their stats said we could win 7-2 prior to Butler.
Can’t wait to hear that we are still in very good shape, just need to win the games we should win!

We can hope Joey isn't turned off by the product on the floor recently, and we can hope that Morrow is as good next year as he was last year.

Oh, and we can hope that Wojo watches some Virginia game tape and figures out how to get a human between the ball and the basket in the next 10 months.

Joey is already on the roster and is burning his redshirt.  He would have to sit out another year if he left and would only have three years of eligibility remaining.

Thought this was going to be a thread about what we as boosters can do to let administration know it may be time to start taking a look to see what else is out there. I voted with my wallet today. Live 3 hours away and been to 4 games so far this (Purdue, Georgia, Georgetown, nova). I chose not to attend today after Wednesday's effort vs. Butler. Good choice. TBA for Senior Day.

I'm seeing a much better shot at 3-4 rest of way than 5-2. 0-2 more likely than 2-0 vs Creighton. Not realistic to expect a W at Seton Hall. And that assumes they don't lose to someone in the current bottom 3. If that happens, the NIT might be out the window, too.

Lose to DePaul, and we will truly be lowest tier BEast.

There's this guy at LaSalle.  Maybe we could convince him to transfer?

6-1: Lock
5-2: Should be in
4-3: Should be out, theoretically possible with a run in the BET
3-4: Need to win the BET

Like others, I'm now doubting this team is good enough to get done what needs to be done in order to make the tournament. NIT seems like a more realistic goal. But the path is there. Every remaining game is winnable, a two point loss to Providence does not change that fact. Need to see if the team can get it done.

Just to be clear—after the Butler loss those who saw the flaws and weaknesses and the tough road ahead were called out by you as chicken littles—multiple times. Now, after another loss to an apparent beatable team you now see what they saw?

Well the chicken little comments were directed at those bumping the "FIRE WOJO" threads and those saying that a 9-9 Big East record is not worthy of a tournament bid and I stand by all of those. Screaming for the coach to be fired because of a bad loss is chicken little worthy.

I had my concerns after the Butler game as well and agreed with anyone who had reasonable doubts about the team's ability to get the necessary wins. Honestly, I was less concerned after Butler because it just seemed like a night where everything went wrong. I thought they played pretty well, especially on the defensive side today and they still came up short. That is more concerning to me. Still think 5-2 is possible but I think it is a more difficult ask today than i did yesterday.

We can win 7 out of 7 . We just need to take it one play at a time.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Might as well win 16 out of 16 then
