In Miltown most of the UW grads are insufferable, so I’m glad that for 40+ years I have been a proud Marquette Warrior fan and it’s been a great ride

Looking at Buckyville, a lot of their posters don’t seem too confident about tomorrow’s game, or high on this year’s Badgers squad in general.  I’d agree with them.  We have better, more athletic guards and the Purdue game showed that we don’t need to score 90 points to win, which hasn’t been the case the past two years.  I’d expect something like a 65-62 Marquette win, a real rock fight that won’t be pretty to watch.

These rivalries fascinate me. Grown adults hating another school or team for no rational reason. I get rivalries where it's just non serious trash talk for fun. But some idiots take it way to far. Some morons on this board are good examples. When I was kid I got into and hated the rival school but now I'm like ok were rivals I guess.. but like I dont really have anything against them. Like I why would I? Idi maybe someone can change my mind here but this rivalry horse s hit is just childish garbage from alot of people throughout all sports. I've seen people hurl disgusting insults at people wearing the other team's Jersey all in the name of it's a rivalry and its pathetic. Am I crazy here?

I think it’s a combination of them hedging so if they lose they can say it’s a down year and it’s not a huge game for them, like the SB it is for MU. We’re just lucky really that the best player to sit out since Wade, Micah Potter, isn’t playing or we’d likely be 8-10 pt dogs

Lots of tix still left.  A white out by their fans....that won’t be hard.

Kinda sad not seeing Bo Ryan on the side lines anymore with a face as red as there logo from yelling at the refs. Their new coach is to calm.

A white-out won't be hard...what Badger fan doesn't have a drawer full of wife-beaters?

This surprises me. Your bookmaker knows more than you do but this might be a rare mistake. One thing Wojo has been able to do is win in Madison.

Vegas knows a lot but they aren't infallible.  Especially early in the season.  Over time (just like at the tables) they are unbeatable for 96% of the wise guys and 100% of the tourists.

Would like to see MU enter a cycle where we are clearly the dominant school in this rivalry again. Would be very helpful to the cause in in-state recruiting.

We have mire talent then the Badgers this year , however winning on the road is never easy. Looking for a monster game from Markus and continued strength from our defensive efforts .

Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Uneasy about this game tomorrow.  First road game of the year, key players who have not been in this rivalry before.  Tomorrow may be a day where the Hausers are missed for experience as much as skill.

I was uneasy last night for a reason.  Always a tough place to play, first road game, Wisconsin plays tough defense.  Their day, hats off to them.
