Postseason: NCAA Tournament (10 seed)
Leader Scoring: Markus Howard 16.5 per game

I had the total and conference record right so far. Just got there a little differently than expected. Switched Georgia and @Wisconsin, and Xavier and @Providence.

Agree with Glow that we are playing better ball than I expected. I'm hoping the defense against Seton Hall was a sign of things starting to click and not just a flash in the pan that will be our best defensive performance all season.

This is my wildly optimistic/everything comes together/freshmen show up prediction.   In reality, I am a little more pessimistic.  My floor is 17-13, 0-1, no postseason.

Bump.    And this was with Haanif on the roster.   I filled out the schedule and predicted over 20 wins.    In reality, I have thought from day 1 that this roster was not deep enough, was too young, and too small.     Roster make up ultimately falls on Wojo, although I am pretty sure he didn't ask Traci, Duane, Haanif to leave.      But I did not then and still do not see how any coach could have taken this particular roster to the second weekend of the tourney.   I allowed myself to be optimistic for a while but I see my floor for this team was the more accurate prediction.

Yes, you are the sage pessimist who always knew we'd be this bad. Everything is on track.

FTR, when exactly should we expect NCAA again? A top-4 conference finish? A conference championship? A final four? A NC?

Butler played in back to back NC games and you do not believe MU can do that? That is troubling to me. You are a diehard fan and do not believe MU can a NC? If that is the case, scale back the spending and invest it in other areas at MU.

I haven't given up on this year.    Next year for sure on both.     Possibly next year, but if not, assuming no mass defections or coaching changes, we should be very close in 19-20.     Final four and NC?    Crap shoot.

Next season
Next season
Outside shot next season,  Good shot season after that
I don't think any team "expects" a final four or championship but I think we will have a team that can compete for one in two seasons

I can see clearly now. If we pull out a win on Feb.24 at DePaul, we are a lock.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.
