Oso had a nasty dunk too.

Jamal deserves tremendous credit.  Notwithstanding Wojo's incompetence, the young man has worked his buttocks off to get to this point. It's crazy rare when you look at his route to the NBA.  I am extremely proud of him as an MU alumnus.  He's a great kid and hopefully he gets a sizeable contract in the off season.

Not 100% on this, but I think they have a team option on him next year for around $2.6M (less than half of Nigel's salary!). I think I exercise that if I'm the Magic. So, maybe no sizeable contract in the coming offseason, but after... although he's getting up there in age.. then again, obviously still has plenty of B O U N C E.

They'll pick that up. I was thinking 5 mill plus for 5 seasons.

I dunno what the mid-level exception is anymore, but Jamal deserves it imo.

Cain wasn't Abel to repeat his success.

Rough game on offense, and also repeatedly torched by Cunningham. The Magic really need Wagner to return from injury so Jamal can go back to his role of energy guy off the bench.

But on a positive Marquette note, Dominic James scored ... for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hah! I was sitting at a bar last night while that game was on. Didn't watch it but happened to see the TV when his name and picture were on the screen after he scored. My wife and I had a chuckle.

Ya....that's not Jamal's role.  Also, no one can stop Cade one on one.  Especially when he's cooking.  Meanwhile, the disappearance of Jalen Duren has been pretty astounding.

Kolek received one vote in "most underrated" category of The Athletic's annual players poll.

Jalen Johnson and Derrick White finished tied for first.

K1 Lover

I mostly just assume everyone else has been seeing the posts, but there's been a lot of love between Kolek and Timothee Chalamet on social media this week. Chalamet even posted a photo of himself "praying" in front of Kolek's jersey.

Maybe we'll get the Kolek biopic after all?
