Brogdan's unexpected retirement was a major break for TK. He has a couple of months to take advantage of it; if the Knicks decide they need someone better to back up Brunson, they'll trade for somebody. Hopefully, TK plays so well that they don't think they have to.

Brogdan's decision was big. Plus Thibs got replaced so the Knicks bench is getting used more. Couple of breaks, need to take advantage.

Another pair of misses at the line for Jimmy. He's now missed 5 on the season through 4 games at 33-38.

Steph missed 20 all season last year.

Oso completely shut down Wembanyama last night.

OK, not quite. But he was one of 3 Phoenix bigs who spent time defending Wemby, who finished with only 9 points as the Spurs finally lost.

Oso finished with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 14 minutes.

He played very good in first game, ok in the second. In third game, he tried a Pistol Pete behind the back pass that was not even close, straight to opposing player for a dunk.  Was benched after that.  Once McBride and Hart came back it was over.  Was behind Brunson, Shamet, Clarkson, McBride and Hart in guard rotation.  Had his chances, but didn't work out.  Shame, Knick fans at the Garden really like him.
