If Dallas wasn't gonna use him, this isn't necessarily a bad outcome vs. getting traded.

Now, he gets to "choose" his next home if there are multiple interested parties.. if he does get signed for 2025-26... his first year salary would have some partial offset, albeit small.. Mavs owe $3M... partial offset would only be around $500k... so, Dallas will be paying him ~$800k/year for the next three years under a scenario where he's signed for this year... and then he makes whatever he can negotiate less $500k for this season (and no partial offset for future years).

Now, if there are no takers.. not so great. But the $$ is still there.

I realized PBI flyer miss seeing the jopwagon by a day in France.
Since I'm heading to Europe in January, it would be great if I could see a game with a Marquette alum playing.
I missed Luke Fisher by a day in Spain several years ago.

OMax, now on the Grizzlies after having been cut by Dallas, had 9 points and 4 rebounds in 12 minutes during last night's exhibition game. He made a 3, had zero turnovers and ... what's this? ... he blocked a shot!
