He always seems to rise to the top when a MU kid is playing.

Nets are doubling Kolek a lot in the 2nd half to get the ball out of his hands.

If the Knicks had decent shooters Tyler would have 4 or 5 more assists.

wadesworld

So Kolek isn't getting cut based on the Summer League?

MuMark

2nd half wasn't as good.......looked like he got a little tired and they gave him lots more defensive attention.

Maybe he's fatigued from all the minutes he got last season...

Or maybe he's fatigued from spending most of his nights in Manhattan and now in Las Vegas

Dr. V,

I don't glean much from SL.

Agree. Tyler did tie for the Knicks lead in points with 25 points. Tyler led the Knicks in  assists with 4 and led the Knicks in steals with 4 also.

And turnovers with 4!

I recorded the Pacers-Knicks game and just watched it. Kam was great (21 and 11) and Kolek was real good (14 and 5) ... and they went at each other several times.

On one play, TK broke Kam's ankles using a behind-the-back dribble to set up his own step-back jumper. Then Kam had one of his patented swooping drives right in Kolek's face. The announcer called it a "Marquette-on-Marquette crime"!

Probably the most fun Summer League game I've ever seen.

Don't tell the dentists about this

Yesterday I started week 3 and my final week in Europe.

In Oslo on Thursday and Friday I saw a total of 3 people wearing basketball jerseys and all 3 were Jimmy  Butler Miami jerseys.

Former Dwight Buycks stop in the French League, establishing quite a Marquette pipeline!

Speaking of Buycks, I count 21 different teams since 2011, not including the TBT squad 😂

Man, imagine that life of movement.

Good luck in France, Jop.

Is this a good landing spot for Jop as far as expected playing time, compensation, competition, etc? I know literally nothing about overseas basketball.

Pro A league in France. Team has played in Euro cup recently. Good landing spot for sure.

Glad to hear it! He deserves it after all the hard work he put in during his four years at MU. Fingers crossed he's successful there!

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Good luck to Jop. His mother is going to need to learn a new anthem.

You'd see less of the world being in the Navy for 14 years.  Holy moly.

I'm pretty sure it was reported that Jop's parents didn't miss a single game throughout his high school and college career. That streak might be coming to an end
Bring back FFP!!!
