Anyone else seen Wilde's gravesite - at Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris?  Lots of famous people there....

Jim Morrison's gravestone is also in this cemetery but we all know that Jim is still alive.   He worked on a horse farm in Oregon until he moved back to France and now, at age 73, resides in an Assisted Living Facility in Paris.

Just put some Habenero Sonoran Salsa on my ground turkey tacos.  Hot damn, I don't deserve to live this good.

Thanks! Southern side of the Island looks like might be spared 150 mph winds. We might get 100 mph. East and north (San Juan) will probably be hit real hard. This Warrior is ready, might have to live with wine, brother's blond ale, good cheese, olives, some good ham, tuna during 24-48 hours. Then no power so BBQ time, ribs, steak etc. Just hope is not the 4 weeks without power they are predicting. I'll keep you posted for as long as I can it is supposed to hit early Wednesday.

When I visited Morrison's grave my friend thought it would be funny to light a cigarette off one of the votive candles someone left on the grave.

I still laugh at a grave that read FAMILLE HOMER and the someone scratched SIMPSON underneath.

Thanks, not looking terrible for the city where I live but still 100 mph winds for about 4 hrs, tropical storm winds for another 10 and at least 10" of rain. Crossing my fingers it goes north a bit more, but don't look like it, east coast and San Juan could get 160 mph winds if it happens it will be bad.

I was surprised by how out of the way Morrison's grave was, and how it was kinda squeezed between others.  Nothing compared to Wilde's in terms of size and location.

I bought 25# of Hatch green chiles this year -- straight from New Mexico.  I split them with a co-worker, and now I'm wishing I would have saved all 25# for myself. Them's good eating.

Did it suck?

Taste was good enough to be bought but when paired against other good beers it just couldn't compete.

Definitely keep your head down Newsy. FYI, jsglow jr. was in the first wave of civilian first responders ordered to Key West.  Arrived yesterday. He indicated that the keys just before KW got hit the worst.

Thanks looking worse now trajectory change a little more towards the south closer to my city. Wind speed increased to 175 mph sustained and that is very bad. Design calls for 125-140 mph winds. Will scoop away for as long as possible.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
