254 yards and 2 TDs - including a long run that was voted WISN Play of the Week - for my nephew in Homestead's win last week over defending state champion Slinger. They try to cap a 9-0 regular season tomorrow.

My wife worked from home during COVID and then had single handedly manage her mother's transition to a nursing home.  The upshot of that is we have been slowly purging for the last 5 years. 

So, today I took a load of fall and winter clothing to the church based food and clothing bank that we have taken the majority of our clothes to over the years.   Where I discovered a shirt I donated a year ago still on a rack.   That's right.  My wardrobe choices are so bad that people with nothing look at them and go 'nah'.

My nephew, Homestead RB Connor Pangallo, is on the ballot for Journal Sentinel high school player of the year. He has rushed for 1,188 yards and 15 TDs for his 10-0 team. Judging by early vote totals, it doesn't look like he has a shot of winning the award, but it's still pretty cool that he was nominated.

Much appreciated! He's a real good athlete but a late bloomer who is in his first season as their main RB. He also has some receiving and return TDs. Missed two games in the middle of the season with a knee injury but rehabbed well. Really proud of how hard he has worked.
