I love the sweet sweet tomato'y flavor of Ketchup and I don't care what you flat landers think!

It's not like a hot dog is fine cuisine that is ruined by some uncouth condiment.  it's freakin' leftover meat squished into a tube.

Plus ketchup is good for choking down other meat products when the cook doesn't know how to prepare it properly.  Pork chops in particular when they get dried out... much better to just smother it in the red goodness.
tell the cook to sous vide that sh$%, will never have dried.meat again. Of you want tomatoey.goodness, make.some tomato jam.

Aldi Joe's is one of the greatest scams of all time.

Get rich people, who would never step foot in an Aldi, to go to a fancier Aldi and pay double or triple the price for the same private label items.

Is Trader Joe’s really that expensive though? I feel like it’s cheaper than Mariano’s.

I like Trader Joe’s quite a bit.

Is it fair to compare verde with reds? that's a different league

There are two reds, a green and a new yellow I haven't tried.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Wasabi sauce. Great condiment or greatest condiment?

Pickapeppa beats that easily
El Yucateco, or go home.
I do like their green habanero sauce

I like it too...and it isn't that expensive. For some of the things I buy, they are the cheapest option in town. Lotsa good deals on organic produce, for example.

Me three.  There's been one about 1/2 mile from my office for a long time and I had never been there before about six months ago.  I always assumed that it was similar to Whole Foods, which is crazy expensive. The first time I went to TJ's, it was a revelation.  The prices seem reasonable to me. Great cheese selection, some good spices, a lot of good frozen food.  For the record, I've got no problem with Aldi, either.

Gringo Bandito > Cholula > Sriracha > Tabasco

You're welcome, Scoop.

Every hot sauce has its place, but Valentina and its smokiness replaces any need for Cholula.

Sambal oelek is the most versatile and underrated.

Favorite recent discovery is the Thai green with lemongrass from Seed Ranch Flavor Co. Not very hot, but the flavor is incredible.

But at Mariano’s, you can get a $2 pint of IPA while you shop. 😬

Got my package today. Great recommendation.

Tried all three varieties on a flour tortilla.

The green sauce is fantastically tasty and hot. The super hot as well, the regular sauce didn’t bring enough flavor, but loving the other two.

We had Kopps tonight.  I decided to try and call in my order.   Called, waited 15 minutes in the comfort of my home, drove, walked in, 2 minutes later walked out.

Best Kopps run ever.

Just look at the chicks and don't purchase anything and you're still a man. Or you can buy a few things to avoid arrest, etc and you're still a guy. So yeah, there are exceptions.

My 10th and final Pinewood Derby was today.  My youngest son (the one I clearly don't love as much) has zero trophies to my eldest son's four.   He decided if Dad couldn't get his car to go fast, let's go for slowest car.

THE ARBYNATOR

We came in 2nd place slowest, which was trophy worthy, so I'm back in my son's good graces.

2nd place is perfect, just like Arby's: It's Not What You Wanted .. but OK.  :-\
