Rubicon, WI, eh?

makes ya wonder what they were hiding from.   once ya put a big lit up sign saying HIDEAWAY next to it, it kinda ruins the hiding part, eyn'a?

Actually, Hauser’s Hideaway is in Hartford, CT.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Was there a letter-writing party after Joey's petition was denied by the NCAA?

Did not actually go there, but I heard their specialty is ice cream drinks.  Apparently  they have a Vanilla Soft Serve machine.

Days of Thunder is trash.

You're trash!  This is why you have no friends!

I used to respect you, but this is unforgivable!  There is no coming back from a statement like this!

*edit: I've taken some time to think about this.  After watching some clips of the movie for the first time in a long time, I realize I may have over reacted just a smidge.  Also, I may have been biased by my nostalgia for things I loved as a youth.  Still, you could have been a bit more diplomatic about it.  So this is still your fault.

Seriously, what's to like about this movie?  Not even close to reality as far as NASCAR works (seriously, Talledega Nights was more accurate), and John C. Reilly wasted in a straight role.

Frankly, after your first statement, I was surprised the Church of Scientology hasn’t offered you a position in their PR dept. by now, but after reading the edit, I can see why they reconsidered.  They never take time to think about anything, which - ironically - is evidenced by Tom Cruise accepting the role in Days of Thunder.

It's all about perspective.   I was 10, it was cars going fast and crashing a lot, and my favorite movie was Top Gun.    ;D

Just don't click on the "Nutritional Info" tab and you'll be fine.

It was actually not as bad as you made me think it was going to be!   I mean, clearly not health food though.    ;D     It also helps that they don't include a "percent of daily diet" listing either.  Helps one fool themselves much easier that way.

This version has horsey sauce.  I dont think it did last time.

You actually get a smaller portion of fries on the 'Nator than you would on a normal sandwich/fries combo,  if you dont get another side.

Brining:  I keep brining the turkey, but not sure I can tell the difference.

Why not just put salt on it?

Why not just put salt on it?

I mean, if you're talking about dry brining vs wet brining, that's a good point.  But if you're just talking about salting after cooking, you'll just be salting an over-dried meat.  Good read:

This is your best bet:

Embedded link for dry brine - which is absolutely the correct move

Seasoned the prime rib yesterday, will have about 48 hours when it goes in the oven. Hoping to get an early cooking start so it's an easy process down the stretch.
