Trendy/upscale Red Robin

The chow was pretty good. Great selection of beers.  Very good sports viewing venue. I can see me viewing some MU games there.

Is there a way to contemplate the meaning/effectiveness of said analogy without going all Kinsey here?  It would seem to me that not being kissed - which I assume would be the reluctant viewing of the ball going through the uprights as regulation/OT expires - would be the preferred option to being kissed by a sibling, but perhaps I'm missing something here.

I just have to assume this adage originated somewhere in the SEC.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Negative.  I have seen several references listing the first known use to have been by the Navy football coach in 1953.

It did, but the SEC-land version was actually 'banging' not 'kissing'. Got toned down for the rest of the country.

And the SEC version was an ironic twist on the West Virginia banging analogy, which was originally developed to describe the feeling after a huge win.

Depends what you mean.

A) It's like you kissing your sister.
B) It's like me kissing your sister.
C) It's like you kissing my sister.
D) It's like me kissing my sister.

I don't have a sister, so we'd be down to C or D.

i'm wondering however, is this "kissing" ones sister like a hug and a peck on the cheek hello or full contact tonsil hockey?  the latter would be a little weird, at least north of the mason-dixon, eyn'a?

This reminds me, I'm at Arby's yesterday and started thinking about my curly fries.  The curls usually disappoint.  I mean, sometimes the curls are like the whole potato and you've got to kinda gnaw it into two bites.  Sometimes it's just a small arc and they get fried too much.

I suppose that's the mission, to disappoint.  So, well done, I guess.

Oh, and another thing that chaps my hide?

Non-Crunchberry Captain Crunch.  My wife bought that by accident and I had to suffer through a bowl of that this morning.   Felt like I was in Canada or something.

Dang - wish I had known. I’ll have to have a belated celebration in a few days. Maybe some sharp cheddar and avocado....
