Wojo, Flynn, Page , and Trump all had contact with the Russians, according to fake news sources.

Very good stuff.

Great podcast. Thanks for posting. The beginning of the season will be interesting (and probably frustrating) as Wojo figures out where all of the pieces fit.

Great interview. Thanks for posting. A few things stood out to me:

1. Wojo expects Markus to improve his defense and decision making. Markus may or may not score more this season. But if he can become a better on-ball defender and cut down on fouls and turnovers, he should see more court time and help us win more games.

2. It's been said here many times before, but Harry's physical transformation is very encouraging. So far he's shown that he's committed to work and improve. The kid has a lot of skill. Playing lighter and stronger will pay big dividends. And we need him on the court.

3. Wojo is clearly making the Marquette tradition a priority — whether it's acknowledging the proud history of the program or reaching out to Doc Rivers and former players. A smart move, and good to hear.

4. Compared to the press conferences in Season 1, Wojo sounds a lot more comfortable. I think he's finding his groove as a head coach. Can't wait for the season to start.

I really wish he would have more interviews like this or would have talked more openly earlier on in his tenure.  He does have a great personal story and I think his background would resonate well with the fanbase.  Instead people assume he is trying to be a mini-Coach K.  Instead this interview lays out completely what he is trying to do and the steps he wants to take to get there.

I agree. Wojo seems the type of coach I would want to send my kids to for basketball camp. Athletic gifts will only take you so far, and I'd imagine some players don't find that out until it's too late.

Maybe he will with positive feedback.  Remember, he's growing in the job and let's all admit that Coach isn't known for his 'gift of gab', especially in front of a microphone. I can personally attest that one on one he is super genuine.

I'm sure there's an element of wanting to prove himself to the fans before opening up
