Cheering tonight!
« on: March 07, 2017, 03:52:23 PM »
Obviously, we root for the MU Women's Team in their first ever Big East Tournament final.

Meanwhile, I find myself rooting for UWM. It'd be great to see them become the worst team in history to make the NCAA tournament. They get to hang a banner for 11-206 team...

I think they use their regular season record, and then add their record vs MU over the years....

And more UWM kids drove up to Detroit than typically show up for a DePaul home game.  Good for them.

If UWM wins then its another love fest with the JS and Badger fans or wannabes.  I can live with NKU winning and hope they do.

I'd hate being so depressed all the time.

Just realized I have several connections to UWM. Stull went to my high school. Nze went to same high school as my kids and he played ball a couple times at our old man pickup games at the local school gym. In fact it is still the only time a pass of mine ended in a dunk.  Plus I'm friends with the uncle of the Prahl twins.

I probably should have paid attention to their team prior to tonight.
